Bukumba Dunia oversees the logistics of the farming operations. From his past farming experiences in the Central Africa regions and soil data knowledge, Dunia will ensure only sustainable and organic farming methodology is used on the farms with no reliance on off-organic farming inputs and chemical pesticides/fertilizers. Other duties will include headmaster of GSI's organic education curriculum which includes crop rotation, planting cover crops, applying finished compost and mulches, encouraging beneficial insects, environmentally safe organic fertilizer management, irrigation, and harvesting.
